117 | The Power of Planning: Easy Money with Christmas Affiliates

Listen on: Apple PodcastsSpotify, and Google Podcasts

As we approach the holiday season, it’s easy for things to get chaotic, especially for us creative business owners. Without a plan, it’s all too common for our well-intentioned ideas to slip through the cracks. But remember, “if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” In this episode, we’ll explore the importance of planning and a simple yet effective marketing strategy that anyone can implement, regardless of whether or not you have a blog.

The Amazon Influencer Advantage:

  • Many of you are Amazon influencers, and if you’re not, consider making it a goal for 2024.
  • Start by creating Idea Lists in your Amazon storefront.
  • Name your lists creatively, like “Holiday Market” or “Christmas Marketplace.”
  • Populate these lists with products related to specific categories, such as holiday decor, doormats, gift wrapping, and more.
  • It’s incredibly easy and efficient, saving you both time and effort.

Curate Your Lists for Convenience:

  • Amazon offers a “Curated lists” feature, allowing you to compile your Idea Lists into one convenient spot.
  • Name your curated list something catchy, like “Christmas Marketplace.”
  • Share the link from this curated list on social media or your blog to recommend holiday products to your audience.
  • People love holiday shopping recommendations, and this approach makes it simple and convenient.

Utilizing the Strategy on Your Blog:

  • If you have a blog, create a blog post highlighting your holiday market.
  • Include an introductory paragraph, setting the festive mood.
  • Use Kadence Blocks to create a gallery of images.
  • Customize captions with category names and hyperlink them to their respective Idea Lists.
  • Drive traffic to your blog and monetize your recommendations.

Sharing Without a Blog:

  • If you don’t have a blog, you can still leverage this strategy.
  • Share the curated list link directly on your social media platforms, like Facebook and Instagram.
  • Remember, your audience values your recommendations, even if the products are readily available on Amazon.

By having a plan and leveraging tools like Amazon Idea Lists and curated lists, you can boost your holiday marketing efforts and increase your income during this festive season. Remember, success doesn’t always require Black Friday or Cyber Monday specials. It’s about providing value and convenience to your audience. So, go ahead, make that plan, and watch your holiday marketing efforts thrive.
