We’ve heard inspiring stories and ideas about how to conquer Instagram, but sometimes what we need is a clear plan for what to do on a daily basis. That’s why today I’m sharing my new simple yet effective strategy to meet my goals with Instagram while avoiding the overwhelm!
Simplify Your Instagram Strategy
As we dive in, remember, this is my personal plan for my business, so be sure to take the parts you like and make them work for you and your season of life.
Purposeful Planning: Defining Your Goals
- Define the purpose of Instagram for your business or personal brand.
- Allocate 30 minutes, twice a day, for Instagram activities.
- Use Instagram’s “take a break” alert feature to stay accountable and avoid excessive scrolling.
Brand Engagement: Building Meaningful Connections
- Choose 3-5 brands each week that you’re wanting to collaborate with and engage with them on Instagram.
- Show support by liking, commenting, and sharing their content to your stories.
- Foster relationships within your niche to expand your network.
Reels and Stories: Creating Compelling Content
- Record three purposeful Reels each week, focusing on entertainment, education, emotion, or e-commerce.
- Theme Reels based on specific days for consistency and ease of creation.
- Utilize Stories to engage with your audience, share behind-the-scenes footage or b-roll, and promote blog posts and affiliate links throughout each day. Take a day off and let stories expire.
